Effective September 24, 2026. Companion is operated by Scott Kirkpatrick dba Hey Companion. These terms describe use of the Companion pilot.

Using Companion

Use Companion only for lawful requests and contacts you are authorized to communicate with. Check spoken names, numbers and message content before confirming. AI recognition can make mistakes. Calendar entries record plans; they do not themselves book outside services.

SMS Terms

Hey Companion family texting lets recipients receive personal messages requested and confirmed by a Companion user. It is not a marketing program. Recipients opt in by sending START to the published Companion number after reading the texting instructions. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply.

Reply STOP to unsubscribe or HELP for assistance. You can opt in again with START. Help is also available at helloscottk@gmail.com. Joining the SMS program does not require a family account.

Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Delivery is not guaranteed. Companion is a pilot and may be unavailable; it is not an emergency service. Do not rely on it for urgent assistance.
